Who We Are & What We Do

Dots

Mission

The DuPage County Republican Committee believes that Freedom & prosperity belong to all. We believe in an Illinois that provides equal opportunity for everyone: where businesses can grow and prosper free from over-regulation, and families are free to raise and educate their children in a safe and strong community. The bedrock principles of limited government and personal responsibility are what will ensure the success of Illinois for generations to come.

Values

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

We believe that the right to express our opinions, our grievances and our dissent in the public square should never be censored or restrained by government, corporations or the media. This fundamental human right is the backbone of a free society, and liberty cannot exist in its absence.

EQUALITY FOR ALL

We believe in equal opportunity for
all American citizens—regardless of race or ethnicity or gender. We believe that economic freedom, strong families, expanded educational opportunity, and safer streets are vital to empowering every citizen to achieve their own American dream.

LIMITED GOVERNMENT / PERSONAL LIBERTY

We believe that citizens’ lives should be as free as possible from government intrusion. Families should have the freedom to raise and educate their children in the manner they see fit. Churches and religious institutions should have the freedom to promote their values in accordance with their First Amendment rights.

RESPECTING OUR MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS

We honor our servicemen and women and first responders who put their lives on the line every day to keep our nation and our neighborhoods safe. We believe that investing in local law enforcement—not defunding them—is key to protecting our communities. At the same time, trust in local law enforcement agencies must be paramount, requiring accountability and transparency from all governing and policing authorities.
